Best Peanut Chutney Recipe For Idli & Dosa
Serving- 2 to 3
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon oil
4 green chillies
2-4 garlic cloves
1 large onion, chopped
A few coriander stalks
A small piece of tamarind
½ cup roasted peanuts
¼ cup roasted gram
Salt to taste
Water as needed
For Tempering:
1-2 teaspoons oil
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
1 dry red chilli
A few curry leaves
Method:
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan.
Add green chillies, garlic, and chopped onion. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add coriander stalks and tamarind.
Mix well and turn off the heat. Let it cool.
Add roasted peanuts, roasted gram, salt, and the cooled onion mixture in a blender.
Add water as needed and grind to a smooth chutney.
For tempering, heat 1-2 teaspoons oil in a small pan.
Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well.
Serve with dosa, idli, or rice.
